Special Services

Special services include partnering with other agencies to improve access to programs, like SNAP;  assistance in finding vaccine information;  and outreach in the Latino community

People with questions about where to access services not provided by the PRC are given referrals to other regional or county agencies who might help.

The PRC maintains a list of local health care aides for families and individuals in need of light in-home services. While we try to maintain a quality list of providers, we do not interview or vet the caregivers who ask to be included on the list. It is up to those who receive the list ensure the applicant is appropriate for their purpose. We at the PRC do not furnish any endorsement of any service provider on the referral list, and require that each recipient of the list leave us contact information so that we may provide statistics to other agencies; all information collected is de-identified.

The PRC provides referrals to Dutchess Community Action Partnership’s Dress for Success Program for those seeking assistance with acquiring business attire and preparation for job interviews.

The PRC partners with Catholic Charities to provide outreach and informational sessions for the Latino community.

For information about any of these programs, call the PRC at 845-855-3459.
